Your Guide to the Kentucky Derby
One of the most important days (holidays) in Prippie culture is among us. The 139th running of the Kentucky Derby will occur on Saturday, May 4th (the first Saturday in May). We celebrate a day where it is acceptable to drink Mint Juleps in public before noon, seersucker, madras and monograms are the norm, and general taboo practices such as gambling or wearing too many pastel shades at once are deemed acceptable. Follow our guide to a successful Derby. Even if you can't make it to Churchill Downs, you can at least celebrate.
